“Professor” Marco Perazzo started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Phil Migliarese, in April 1994 after watching how effective Gracie Jiu-Jitsu was in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He was hooked when he learned that a smaller, weaker opponent could win a fight against a bigger, stronger person.

Today, Marco not only owns his own BJJ Academy - New Jersey Martial Arts, known as @teamNJMA, where he teaches a wide range of students, he also coaches several professional mixed martial artists. As recently as last week's UFC Fight Night 135, Marco worked the corner of main card fighter Tim Williams.
